R35 GTR GT1于日前参加了FIA GT锦标赛2009赛季首场官方试车活动，地点位于法国南部的Paul Ricard赛道法国南部的Paul Ricard赛道，同场的还有GT1/GT2组别的Maserati MC12 GT1、Matech Racing's Ford GT、Chevrolet Corvette C6.R、Saleen S7R、Ferrari F430 GT、Porsche GT3 RSR，以及GT3组别的Audi R8 LMS、Alpina B6 GT3等接近50辆新型赛车。FIA GT锦标赛的2009赛季首场比赛将在下月於英国银石赛道举行，揭幕战的赛程中包括FIA GT Championship、FIA GT3 European Championship、GT4 European Cup、Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo四项赛事。
